Where to pre-order the iPhone 11, Apple Watch Series 5, and new iPads
Sept. 13 is the big day: It’s time for Apple pre-orders to start kicking in.
If you’re at all interested in the next generation of iPhones, Apple Watches, and more, you most likely caught wind of the tech giant’s big unveiling of their newest in smart tech on Sept. 11, (most notably the iPhone 11 and Apple Watch Series 5).
If you’re chomping at the bit to get your hands on any of these devices (we already have our credit cards out, too), you should probably secure yours when they’re all available for pre-order.
Here’s what you can get, and where you can get it:
iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max
Get ready to take all the “slofies” you can with the brand new iPhone 11. Equipped with two upgraded cameras, this new and cheaper rendition of the world’s most popular smartphone is sure to turn heads with its new colors and capabilities (we need that purple one). The iPhone 11 can also take much better low-light pictures thanks to a nighttime capture mode, so your spontaneous photoshoots can last well into the wee hours. Read all about the phone’s unveiling in our inside look at Apple’s keynote.

And that’s only the iPhone 11 — don’t forget about the iPhone 11 Pro (and Pro Max). These are Apple’s next era of top-of-the-line smartphone devices, coming with a third, ultra-wide camera lens, gorgeous Retina display, and an upgraded battery life. If you’re used to having iPhone Plus models, you’ll feel right at home with the iPhone 11 Pro Max, the Pro’s larger counterpart.
Pre-orders launch at 5am PST / 8am EST on Sept. 13, so set those alarms and start building out your specs for your new iPhone (which will arrive on Sept. 20). The iPhone 11 will start at $699, the iPhone 11 Pro at $999, and the Pro Max at $1,099. Purchased iPhones will also come with a free year of Apple TV+ when it drops on Nov. 1.
You can grab one of these beauties at Walmart, Best Buy, and Apple direct.
Apple Watch Series 5
Not everyone was expecting a brand-new Apple Watch to make an appearance, but we got it — and we like it very much.
The Apple Watch Series 5 welcomes the new addition of the “always on” Retina display — basically meaning that your watch face will stay on without draining battery life (like a real watch!). The Series 5 will also feature a built-in compass, which will track what direction you’re facing in third party apps, as well as the compass app itself. Check out all the other significant upgrades in the Apple Watch Series 5 here.
You can pre-order the Apple Watch Series 5 at 5am PST / 8am EST on Sept. 13 as well — the 38mm option will start at $399, and the 42mm option will go for $429. Pick one up at Walmart, Amazon, B&H, Best Buy, and Apple direct.
The new, 10.2-inch iPad
Apple didn’t forget about you iPad lovers out there. The new, 10.2-inch iPad is not only larger than before, but also faster — and it comes with Apple Pencil support. A smart connector has also been added to the iconic tablet, which means you can attach an Apple Smart Keyboard at your leisure. If it reminds you of the Microsoft Surface, then you’re on the right track — this is Apple’s answer to Microsoft’s laptop-and-tablet combo.
You can order the newest iPad starting at $329 for the 32GB model and $429 for the 128GB model now, and it will officially be available on Sept. 30. You’ll also get a free year of Apple TV+ when it launches along with your purchase.
Grab one at Walmart, Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, and Apple direct.
