Where to find AirPods on sale today
BEST AIRPODS DEALS LIVE RIGHT NOW:
Not to toot our own horns or anything, but we totally called it: AirPods were one of the most popular items of Black Friday 2019 — so popular, in fact, that one Mashable shopping writer was greeted with one of those annoying “out of stock” banners when she tried to order her mom a pair of AirPods on Walmart.com a mere *hour* after its holiday sale went live.
Unsurprisingly, that trend seems to be continuing through Cyber Monday: Those teensy white earbuds are going fast at across all major retailers this morning. Here’s where you’ll find them in stock — and more importantly, where you’ll find them on sale.
Apple never offers much in the realm of discounts, but its Cyber Monday gift card promotion makes its deal on the wired-charging AirPods 2 the best value: For every pair you buy for $159, you’ll receive a $25 Apple gift card that you can spend either in stores or online.
If you’d prefer a standard markdown on these AirPods 2, head to Best Buy over your lunch break: They’re on sale there for $139.99, or $19 off, beating Target and Walmart‘s holiday pricing of $144.99 and $144, respectively. (Amazon lists them at $139.99, too, but they’re temporarily out of stock and it could be a while before they ship.)
Best Buy comes through once again with a $34 discount on the iteration of the AirPods 2 that includes a wireless charging case: Normally $199, they’re only $164.99 there right now. (You’d pay $5 more if you ordered them from Walmart; they’re unavailable on Amazon and sold out at Target for the time being.)
Where to buy the AirPods Pro: Er, it’s complicated.
As for Apple’s brand new AirPods Pro — a pretty similar bud, only with active noise cancellation and a comfier fit — well, you’re kind of SOL at the moment. They were on sale on Amazon for $14 off (that’s the only discount we saw across the board), but they’ve since sold out. If you’re willing to pay full price, you can still snag them for Apple’s MSRP online at both Walmart and Best Buy, although it might be worth refreshing Amazon’s product page throughout the day to see if they go back in stock. (It does happen, FWIW: They were actually sold out at Walmart when I started writing this post, but came back in stock when I reloaded the page a couple of minutes later.)
