Where to buy an Xbox when they’re sold out almost everywhere
If you thought Nintendo Switches were hard to find during quarantine, try getting ahold of an Xbox console right now.
Best Buy’s inventory has been completely cleared out — every single Xbox console and bundle listed on its website is sold out online and unavailable for in-store pickup within 250 miles of all major U.S. cities. And at Walmart and Amazon, the only stragglers left in stock are either the rare refurbished models or ones being sold by sketchy third-party retailers.

All is not lost, though. We had to do some serious digging, but we managed to find a single Xbox One S bundle up for grabs at GameStop: It comes with a free-to-play download of Roblox; three Roblox avatar bundles and accessories; and a month’s worth of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and you can order it online right now for $299.99.
The Xbox One S was released all the way back in 2016, but it’s hardly outdated — with support for HDR gaming and 4K video streaming, it’s a really great entry-level console. The one included in the Roblox bundle boasts a solid 1TB of storage, which means you’ve got plenty of room to build out your gaming library.
For the uninitiated, Roblox is a “sandbox”-style multiplayer platform/virtual hangout space where users can create and play 3D games like this one — sort of like Minecraft, but with more socializing. (Remember Kanye West and Lil Pump’s weird, blocky music video for “I Love It”? They’re dressed up as Roblox characters.) As of part of GameStop’s bundle, you’ll get some exclusive Roblox gear and 2,500 Robux — that’s its in-game currency — to spend on avatar upgrades or abilities.
We’ve got a feeling this bundle will sell out fast, so don’t dawdle — hit the blue button below to start shopping.
