Up to $100 off Fujifilm, Polaroid, and more
TL;DR: Instant cameras and portable printers from Fujifilm, Polaroid, and Sharper Image are on sale — save up to $100.
Instagram is probably doing away with likes soon. The company thinks that getting rid of this popularity contest will make people post more because they’re not worried about the best “times” to post — and you know our validation-seeking asses will probably go along with their plan.
You now have your chance to be one of those hipsters who Instagrams pictures of instant photos like some photography-ception. Conveniently, instant cameras and portable printers that can sync to your phone are on sale at Walmart and Amazon:
Meet the new classic — and the model that shows up on nearly every teenage girl’s wishlist. The Instax Mini 9 is beloved for its simplicity, color selection, and durability (which is important when you’ll be carrying it everywhere you go in case of a photo opportunity). This accessory bundle comes with the camera itself, as well as 40 sheets of film, a protective case, sticker frames, lenses, and more.
Regularly $150, you can save $50.05 and get all of that for $99.95.
A more professional twist on the classic, the Fujifilm Instax Square SQ6 captures your photos in — wait for it — a square. This means that you won’t have to choose between portrait or landscape, and you can add your own creative touch with features like double exposure mode.
Regularly $129.95, you can save $32.07 and get it for $97.88.
There will always be those times when you need to take a picture and don’t have your instant camera handy. The Polaroid Pop 2.0 is a 2-in-1 camera and printer that lets you take instant photos when you can or sync photos from your smartphone to print. Upon its release, one complaint was that it was too expensive for how crappy the video quality is — but most instant cameras don’t offer video anyway, and now that it’s $100 off, there’s no reason to not give it a try. Besides, it has an impressive 4.4 out of 5 stars on Amazon.
Regularly $199.99, you can save $100 and get it for $99.99.
For a budget option, Sharper Image’s 2-in-1 instant camera and portable printer poses some real competition for the more expensive Polaroid version. It’s not a touch screen, but it can still connect to your phone via Bluetooth to sync pictures from there. You’ll also have more luck with autofocus here than on the Polaroid Pop, and Sharper Image’s printed photos provide gorgeous, accurate color.
Regularly $99.99 (the sale price of the Polaroid Pop), you can save $60 and grab it for $39.99.
