The PlayStation Classic is on sale for just $39.99 at Walmart
Last week, we saw the PlayStation Classic go on sale for $40.75 on Amazon. While it was a low price, it included a shipping fee of over $5, so it bumped the overall price to over $46. However, we found the PS Classic for the low, low price of $39.99 at Walmart with free shipping to your home or in-store — if you live near a brick-and-mortar location.
Normally retailing for $99.99, the PlayStation Classic is the mini version of one of the most iconic home consoles in video game history. In fact, it’s about 45% smaller than the original console, which was released 24 years ago in 1995.
The PS Classic comes with 20 games pre-loaded — including Final Fantasy VII, Grand Theft Auto, Metal Gear Solid, and more — two full-size wired classic controllers, an HDMI cable that plugs directly into modern TVs, and a built-in virtual memory card for in-game saves. Now that’s something you couldn’t do with the original PlayStation, unless you purchased an additional physical memory card.
If you love retro gaming and want to re-visit the ’90s, the PlayStation Classic is a great way to relive your youth or introduce gaming to the next generation.

“It’s great. 20 fun games including legends like final fantasy and metal gear. Has a anytime save feature so you can save anytime and then get back to the game and load it. it is in hd so its super clear. comes with 2 controllers. Tekken 3 is going to play a tad slower because its the pal version but that is not a big deal. still all controls are very responsive for all the games i love it.”
