The iRobot Roomba 860 is on sale for nearly 40 percent off at Amazon
Looking to clean your home when you’re not at home? The iRobot Roomba 860 is a smart robot vacuum that can deep clean on any type of floor and it’s on sale for $279.99 on Amazon, or $169 off its retail price.
While it looks and works like new, this is a certified refurbished model from Amazon. However, don’t let that tag fool you. Certified refurbished models are just as good at cleaning and vacuuming as a new model, but at a much lower cost. The differences are minor, but the savings are major — especially for your wallet.
The iRobot Roomba 860 normally retails for $449 and features auto-adjust cleaning and multi-surface brushes, which is why it can take on hardwood floors and carpets with ease. This robot vacuum is also powerful, with the ability to lift dirt, debris, and pet hair from any surface with more suction power than the Roomba 600 and 700 series models.
You can even schedule the Roomba 860 to patrol and deep clean your home when you’re away at work or running an errand. Thanks to iRobot’s “Virtual Wall Barrier” technology, the Roomba 860 will not leave a programmed room and not wander off throughout your home. You can also turn off the feature and have it freely roam and clean from room to room.
Once the robot vacuum is finished, it will automatically go back to its charging station to recharge for another bout with dirt and pet hair in your home.
Still not convinced? Amazon customer okmichele writes:
“I have used this Roomba multiple times a day for the past almost 2 years. We have dogs that shed so it gets a workout and it’s still going strong. Other than the filter, we haven’t had to replace any parts. I will say that we are diligent about keeping the rollers clean and removing the plastic yellow piece on each roller and cleaning behind it. It does a great job going from wood floors to rugs. We have more than gotten our money’s worth.”
