The Instant Vortex Plus and other air fryers are on sale at Best Buy
Maybe you’re sick of feeling like an oil-logged blob every time you eat French fries. Maybe you gave up junk food for Lent. Or hey, maybe the panic surrounding the coronavirus outbreak has made you consider breaking into your frozen food stash. (Psst — here are some helpful ways to quell your COVID-19-related anxiety.)
At any rate, having an air fryer in your arsenal of kitchen appliances can be extremely useful for two reasons: For one thing, they give foods that crispiness you so crave without leaving them drenched in oil. They also make cooking with frozen foods even more convenient, since there’s no thawing required when you go the air-frying route.
Best Buy happens to have a bunch of air fryers on sale as of March 11, including the popular Instant Vortex Plus (more on that below). Check out these deals we found:

From the makers of your favorite pressure cooker comes the Instant Vortex Plus, a 7-in-1 appliance with built-in smart programs for air frying, baking, roasting, toasting, broiling, dehydrating, and spit-roasting. Reviewers and bloggers alike have been singing its praises ever since its mid-2019 debut, extolling its huge 10-quart capacity; its double-tray setup, which makes it easy to flip foods mid-cooking; and its detachable, transparent door, which lets you monitor the progress of your meal.
This puppy typically retails for $119.99, but Best Buy has it on sale for just $104.99 — a $15 savings. Get it here.

Featuring a dishwasher-safe rack and basket, NuWave’s 6-quart air fryer comes with touchpad controls and half a dozen preprogrammed settings for fries, frozen fries, nuggets, steak, poultry, and fish. You can snag it in red at Best Buy for just $103.99, or $46 off its suggested retail price of $149.99. (A black variant is also on sale, but it’s $26 more expensive and 1.5 quarts smaller.) Get it here.

Another blogger/reviewer favorite, the Ninja Foodi is a 2-in-1 appliance with a unique dual lid design that allows it to both air fry and pressure cook — that way, your food can get nice and juicy on the inside before crisping up on the outside. Normally $239.40, you can pick one up at Best Buy right now for only $199.99 — a savings of nearly $40. Get it here.

A great budget pick, Insignia’s 3.5-quart digital air fryer has a massive temperature range of 180-400°F and sports a digital menu with pre-programmed cook times and heat settings. We saw it drop to $53.80 on Amazon just before last Christmas and Hanukkah, but Best Buy’s current pricing is even better: You can order it now for just $49.99, or half off its $99.99 MSRP. Get it here.
