The Instant Pot Viva is on sale for $49.99 — that’s over 50% off
TL;DR: As of March 16, Best Buy is offering the 6-quart 9-in-1 Instant Pot Viva for $49.99 — a savings of over 50 percent.
If you’re looking to replace your old Instant Pot, you’re likely considering more versatile options like the Duo Plus, Ultra, or Max.
But there’s another, more less-known model that should probably be in the mix: Once a QVC exclusive, the Instant Pot Viva is now available at Best Buy and is on sale for $49.99. As expected for a 9-in-1 model, it retails at over $100 — but during this sale, it’s cheaper than both the 9-in-1 Duo Plus and the 7-in-1 Duo.
The Instant Pot Viva sits stealthily between the Duo, which has fewer functions, and the Duo Plus, which has the same amount of functions but comes with a blue display and status icons. We don’t know about you, but we’re totally down to skip the fancier display to get nine functions for less than $50.
Those nine functions turn the device into a pressure cooker, rice cooker, slow cooker, yogurt maker, steamer, sauté pan, food warmer, stock pot, cake maker, egg cooker, sterilizer, and a sous vide device. 15 built-in smart programs for soup, meat/stew, and chili decide the time and temperature for those desired textures without the need for messy trial-and-error.
Anyone who’s used an Instant Pot knows the heartbreak that is coming back to your almost-done meal only to realize you forgot to seal the lid. The Viva is equipped with Instant Pot’s new EasySeal lid, which seals the vent as soon as you close the lid.
Regularly $119.99, you can save $70 and get the 6-quart 9-in-1 Instant Pot Viva for $49.99. Unfortunately, only the silver is on sale — sorry, cinnamon and eggplant.
