The Fire HD 10 is on sale for $50 off for Amazon Prime members

Needing a tablet isn’t the same as needing an iPad. There, we said it.

iPads are a massive investment that creative professionals are willing to make — but not everyone’s needs are that serious, and not everyone’s wallet allows for dropping $700 on a single item.

Photoshop and Illustrator are definitely out of the question, but as cheap as it is, the Fire HD 10 deserves some respect. Echo-heavy households will appreciate that it can also double as a smart home hub with the Alexa assistant built-in.

The cameras are meh and a plastic exterior isn’t the most stylish, but it’s also literally under $100. And if young kids will also be asking for a turn, you’ll be thankful for that plastic.
