The ‘Avengers’ Square Enix game is available for pre-order and $10 off
TL;DR: One of E3’s biggest debuts, the Avengers game from Square Enix, is available for pre-order on Xbox and PS4 for only $49.94, $10.05 off its future retail price.
To everyone who thought they would have nothing to look forward to after Endgame: Your time in the MCU is just getting started.
Marvel’s Avengers, the long-awaited action-adventure game where you get to experience what it’s like to be your favorite heroes, is available for pre-order just days after the trailer dropped at E3. It will retail at $59.99 when it’s released in May 2020, but when you pre-order through Walmart, you can swipe it for Xbox or PlayStation 4 for $49.94. Get your gaming headset and Infinity Gauntlet ready, y’all.
Taking place during A-Day, our heroes are in the midst of unveiling an Avengers Headquarters in San Fransisco — obviously something’s about to go wrong. After a five-year period of outlawed heroes due to catastrophic accident at the celebration, the game leaves it up to you to reassemble the team and save the world from destruction.
Play as Thor, Black Widow, Iron Man, Hulk, and Captain America in single or co-op missions with nearly infinite ways to customize outfits and combat style. Instead of random loot boxes, the narrative, character skills, items, and more will be released over the span of a few years — so it’s not one of those games that you beat in a month and forget about.
Retailing for $59.99 when it comes out, you can save $10.05 and pre-order the Xbox or PS4 Avengers game for $49.94. (Walmart says it will ship at the end of December, but that’s not accurate. May, 2020, baby.)
