The 2019 MacBook Air is back at $899, its lowest price ever on Amazon
TL;DR: The 2019 MacBook Air with True Tone Retina display is on sale for $899.99, a savings of $199.01.
The launch of a new iPhone always brings two emotions: excitement because it’s a new iPhone, and anxiety because you know you’ll eventually have to pay for that new iPhone.
Does this mean all other tech upgrades — like a reliable laptop — have to go by the wayside?
Virgo season, AKA the season of getting your shit together, isn’t going to let that happen. If you’re also in the market for a new MacBook, the newest MacBook Air (128 GB) has dropped back down to its all-time-low price of $899.99. To put it in perspective, that $200 savings could get you the new iPhone 11 for $499. (Pre-orders start on Friday, Sept. 13, and we’ll obviously let you know all of the best trade-in deals.)
This particular MacBook Air model was a pretty yuge deal when it came out in July 2019. Retailing at $1,099, it was only slightly more expensive than the $999 previous generation. The catch of it all is that the 2019 MacBook Airs are the first Airs with a 13-inch True Tone Retina display.
The 2019 Airs also have the touch ID system, a dual-core 8th-generation Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz, and Intel UHD Graphics 617. Though the outside design (and that annoying butterfly keyboard) is identical to the previous model, the newer model’s 2560 x 1600 Retina display is comparable to that of a MacBook Pro.
Regularly $1,099, you can save $199.01 and get the 2019 MacBook Air (128 GB model) for $899.99.
