The 2019 iPad Air is on sale for $579.99 at Best Buy — save $200
Since the iPad Pro and super affordable $329 iPad made their debut, it seems like the poor iPad Air has been swept under the rug.
You know, the thing that happened to every other kitchen appliance when the Instant Pot came out.
The Air finally reclaimed its place in the spotlight in late March 2019, when Apple announced the jump to a 10.5-inch screen (among other improvements).
If you’ve been in the market for an iPad and haven’t pulled the trigger yet, be glad that you waited: The 2019 iPad Air is the perfect mix of the good parts of all its siblings, and it’s $200 off as part of Best Buy’s Apple Event.
(Turns out Apple’s site isn’t the best place to do your shopping — the iPad Air is still $779 there.)
Referred to as the best iPad value by Mashable’s Ray Wong, the 2019 Air is armed with slimmer bezels, a high-res retina display, and Apple’s A12 Bionic chip (the same one that powers iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR). When thinking heavy duty content, the Pro is no longer the only iPad that comes to mind — 4K video editing, 1080p streaming, and augmented reality games are all a go on the new Air.
The Apple Pencil is also (finally) on the roster of accessories, and this new, huge screen is just begging for you to draw on it.
Regularly $779, you can save $200 and get the newest iPad Air for just $579.99.
