Now that the Model 3 is (finally) widely available, Tesla has begun selling a wider range of phone accessories for its most affordable electric sedan.
One of these is an unreasonably expensive wireless charging pad, which can be found on the Vehicle Accessories part of Tesla’s online shop, for the price of $125.
The charging mat is Qi-compatible and will charge the iPhone 8 and up as well as Android phones adhering to the standard. Tesla says its surface will prevent slippage, and you can charge two phones at the same time. The shipping time for the device is two to three weeks.
Tesla-branded accessories have a habit of going out of stock quickly, so you might want to hurry if you want to get this one. Have in mind, though, that you can get a Model 3-friendly wireless charging mat from a third-party manufacturer for less money.
