Take $30 off 2 pre-orders of the Echo Show 5 or $50 off a Ring bundle
TL;DR: The new (adorable) Echo Show 5 is available for pre-order and bundle deals are abundant. Save $30 when you order two or save $50 when you add a Ring Video Doorbell Pro.
There’s a new Echo Show in town, and bundling with a second Show or a Ring Video Doorbell can save you even more. Pre-ordering two of the Echo Show 5 can save you $30 (getting you two for $149.98) and adding a Ring Video Doorbell Pro to the bundle can save you $50 (a purchase that would usually be $338.99.)
If you’re feeling a bit of deja vu here, you’re not crazy — we just went through a new Echo Show release less than a year ago. The Echo Show 5 still makes video calls, monitors security cameras, supports Prime Video, shows recipe videos, and all the good stuff that makes people want an Echo with a display in the first place. It’s just smaller, and happens to be the first Echo-with-a-screen ever to retail under $100.
Though it’s tiny compared to those of its siblings, the 5.5-inch display is more than enough to support your Ring’s footage. With two-way 1080p video, you can answer your door without standing up, check on weird overnight noises with the infrared camera, and get alerts when motion is detected.
One big change will particularly hit home with people who bought webcam covers: The front-facing camera on the Echo Show 5 has a shutter that you can close if you’re sketched out about Amazon’s storing tactics.
Pre-order one for $89.99, two for $149.98, or add on a Ring Video Doorbell Pro for $288.99 here. Items ship on June 26, 2019.
