As of April 19, several Fitbit fitness trackers from 2019 and 2020 are on sale at Walmart for up to 31% off:

Apple isn’t the only brand rumored to be working on a new wearable this spring, apparently: The German tech site WinFuture (via 9to5Google) just published images of the so-called Fitbit Luxe, which looks to be a high-end fitness tracker with a stainless steel case and an upgraded OLED screen. Fitbit itself has yet to speak on this goss, much less announce a release date for the Luxe, but “the depth of the leak suggests it’s coming soon,” says Engadget.

Fitbit came out with four new fitness trackers last year, so we have high hopes for its 2021 lineup. Speaking of: If you don’t feel like waiting around for “soon,” now’s not a bad time to grab one of Fitbit’s (still very good) 2019 or 2020 releases. Walmart had a few of them on sale at the time of writing, saving you as much as 31% off their retail prices.

Not sure which one’s right for you? Here’s a super quick spec overview:

Launched in the thick of the pandemic last April, the lightweight and long-lasting Charge 4 “is an excellent fitness tracker that packs all the features you need to track and improve your performance over time,” wrote Mashable tech reporter Brenda Stolyar. (You can read her review of it here.) That includes a built-in GPS, a heart-rate sensor, and a fancy fitness metric called Active Zone Minutes that helps you train using heart rate data. Fitbit’s also thrown in Spotify integration, as a treat.

Normally $149.95, Walmart has the Fitbit Charge 4 on sale in Black for just $128.95 — a 14% savings.

Deemed “the perfect fitness tracker if you prefer low-tech” by Mashable culture reporter Tim Marcin, the Inspire 2 from Sept. 2020 features 24/7 heart rate monitoring, Active Zone Minutes, sleep tracking tools, and up to 10 days of battery life. (You can read his full review here.) We’d also be willing to call it the perfect fitness tracker for anyone on the absent-minded side, as it’s the only Fitbit with Tile’s Bluetooth tracking technology — i.e., you can find it with your phone if you ever misplace it.

Grab it on sale at Walmart in Black, Desert Rose, or Lunar White for just $68.95 — that’s 31% off its $99.95 MSRP.

BEST APPLE WATCH ALTERNATIVE: Fitbit Versa 2

The Versa 2 may be the oldest model on this list — Fitbit debuted it in Sept. 2019 — but “outdated” it is not: With built-in Amazon Alexa voice controls, a pretty always-on display, Fitbit Pay, a GPS, and sleep-tracking/analyzing features, it’s a worthy Apple Watch competitor that’s way easier on the wallet. The only thing it’s really missing is the ability to reply to iPhone texts and make calls — “Apple doesn’t allow that functionality on non-Apple Watch smartwatches,” said Mashable tech reporter Ray Wong. (Click here to read his Versa 2 hands-on guide.)

Available in Black/Carbon Aluminum, Petal/Copper Rose Aluminum, and Stone/Mist Grey Aluminum, you can score it on sale at Walmart for only $148.95 — a 26% savings.

BEST FOR STRESS MANAGEMENT: Fitbit Sense

This Stress Awareness Month, you probably need more help than ever when it comes to relaxing. Enter: Last fall’s Fitbit Sense, a premium wearable for wellness warriors that packs an electrodermal activity (EDA) sensor for stress management. Other highlights include smart assistant support, a built-in GPS, Spotify integration with on-device music storage, and an SpO2 sensor that can measure blood oxygen levels. (Click here to read Stolyar’s review of the Sense.)

Typically $329.95, you can get it on sale at Walmart for just $248.95 (or 25% off) in your choice of two finishes: Carbon/Graphite Stainless Steel or Lunar White/Soft Gold Stainless Steel.
