Save up to $300 on the Air and Pro
MacBooks are that one, big holiday gift that most people would give up the rest of their gifts for. Screw the rest of the list, right?
If you know someone who’s had a new MacBook at the top of their list for years, 2019 could be the year you find a price you can justify. The 2019 MacBook Air is the cheapest Air ever and on sale for even less, and Amazon and Best Buy are offering $200 off the MacBook Pro. When you stop for a moment to realize that these deals far outshine Apple’s deal for a free $200 Apple Store gift card after you pay full price for a MacBook, then you realize it’s better to buy Apple products anywhere but Apple.
Oh, and all of these deals are already live. Judging by the vague “save $200 to $300 on select MacBook models” that we saw retailers boasting about in most Black Friday 2019 ad scans, these are likely the cheapest these computers will go over the shopping weekend.
The classic MacBook is a staple purchase for students or anyone who works from home (and these babies will last you for years). The Retina display with 25% more color than sRGB brings your project to life while the Intel Core i7 processor works tirelessly to prevent lag and annoying loading times. The customizable Touch Bar lets you arrange the commands you use the most. Not only are you snagging this MacBook at its lowest price on Amazon ever, but your purchase also gets you $20 off Microsoft Office.
Best Buy also has the same deal on this model. If you’re fine with an i5 instead of i7 processor, Best Buy is offering the same 13-inch Pro for $200 off at $1,099.99 plus three free months of Apple Music.
Remember that 16-inch MacBook Pro that was being rumored to drop soon in mid November? Yeah, that bad boy is out just in time for Black Friday. Aside from the obvious increase in screen size and weight, the new MacBook Pro has six speakers, a super quiet Magic Keyboard to replace the terrible butterfly keyboard, a new 9th-generation processor, and exquisite AMD Radeon Pro 5000M series graphics like no MacBook has ever seen before.
Amazon is the only retailer we can find with this model on sale. 5% off might not seem like a lot, but when a MacBook was just released within the past month, any discount at all is lucky.
Just released in July 2019, the newest MacBook Air is the first Air with a 13-inch True Tone Retina display that’s comparable to a MacBook Pro. They can be unlocked with Touch ID like an iPhone, use a 8th-generation Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz, and graphics that are pretty impressive for a laptop of this size.
Its original sale price is $899.99, which is its lowest price on Amazon ever already — but choosing free no-rush shipping at checkout shaves an extra $100 off the price. Best Buy has the same $899.99 sale price but offers no extra coupons.
