Save nearly $200 on Amazon
TL;DR: The 256GB Microsoft Surface Pro X with 16GB of RAM is on sale for only $1,299.99 on Amazon. It typically retails for $1,499, so you’ll be saving just under $200.
I hope y’all aren’t tired of hearing about Microsoft Surface Pro deals yet, because it looks like Amazon is just getting started.
In the wake of its mid-January discounts on the lightweight Surface Pro 3 and the speedy Surface Pro 6, the online retailer is offering an unprecedented markdown on the all-new Surface Pro X, an ultra-thin 2-in-1 laptop that dropped in November. Normally $1,499, the 256GB model that comes with 16GB of RAM is now on sale for just $1,299.99 — an impressive savings of nearly $200. (At 13% off, that’s the biggest discount it’s gotten since its release.)
If you can’t decide between a tablet or a laptop, tablet/laptop hybrids like the Surface Pro X offer the best of both worlds: the convenience of a touchscreen and enough power for most computing tasks. (Does that make them the Hannah Montana of consumer tech? I mean, if the bedazzled cowboy boot fits…)
For its part, the Surface Pro X sports a 13-inch, edge-to-edge PixelSense Display touchscreen that supports Microsoft’s Slim Pen (sold separately) and runs on the company’s new Qualcomm-powered SQ1 chip, which translates to some pretty incredible graphics. (FWIW, that processor also affords it an all-day battery life of up to 13 hours and fast-charging capabilities.) Moreover, Microsoft’s equipped the device with both WiFi *and* LTE Advanced Pro connectivity to make sure you have access to lightning-fast internet anytime, anywhere.
But perhaps most impressively, the Surface Pro X isn’t bulky or cumbersome *at all* despite its power: At 7.4mm thin, it’s the slimmest (and arguably most portable) Surface Pro that Microsoft has ever made.
You’ll find the Surface Pro X on sale right here — just don’t wait too long to place your order, because we have no idea how long those sweet, sweet, savings will last.
