Save a ridiculous $850 on one of Sony’s best 4K TVs from 2017 thanks to Amazon
When looking for a new 4K TV, you can’t do much better right now than Sony. And while that means you’re getting premium quality, you’ll also be paying premium prices, even on some of their older model TVs.
But if you are in the market for a new TV and are looking to make the jump to 4K, Amazon has a Sony TV deal that is priced just right.
Amazon is offering the Sony 65-inch X900E 4K Smart TV for $1648. The TV is normally listed for $2499.99, saving you a ridiculous $850 on this TV.
The X900E is a perfect example of Sony’s care and choices when it comes to designing their TVs. First, there’s the TRILUMINOS color display, offering smooth and bright colors that easily outperform most other TVs. This is supplemented with excellent HDR integration that combines to create a bright and natural picture.
Another feature that’s worth mentioning is that this model line is backlit, not edgelit. Most TVs are edgelit, meaning that the light cascades to the center, which could result in some fade. Since the X900E is backlit, the overall picture is much brighter out of the box since it comes directly out and fills out the picture much better than an edgelit TV.
The X900E also shines when it comes to the smart features. With Android TV, you’ll get access to all the streaming services and apps you could imagine, like most other systems. But, unlike most other smart TV offerings, Android TV is capable of updating to keep the system running smoothly, which smart systems like webOS and Smart Hub can’t do. And since it’s an Android device, you can easily integrate the TV into your smart home by connecting it to a Google Home or an Amazon Echo device.
And remember, this is a 2017 model, which speaks volumes to Sony’s philosophy and care when it comes to designing their TVs. So if this sounds like the kind of TV you want at the center of your home theater, head over to Amazon and get the X900E while you can.
