Save $80 on Series 3 models on Amazon

Although the Apple Watch Series 4 is the company’s latest in wearable devices, the Series 3 is still the greatest with people looking for a bargain. The Apple Watch Series 3 is the previous generation, but it’s still top-notch — especially since the 38mm and 42mm models are now on sale for $80 off their list prices on Amazon.

The Apple Watch Series 3 usually goes for $279, but the 38mm GPS model is priced at just $199. It features a GPS tracker, optical heart sensor, and digital crown made from premium aluminum. This model syncs directly to your iPhone for connectivity on-the-go, while it also features an accelerometer and a gyroscope for tracking workouts and your running routine with up to 18 hours of battery life. In addition, the Apple Watch Series 3 is swim-proof, so feel free to wear it when you’re doing laps at your local pool. 

The smartwatch runs the latest watchOS 5, so even if the Series 3 38mm is a generation behind, its operating system and functionality are not. If you’re looking for an Apple Watch with its own mobile data service, the Series 3 38mm with cellular and GPS built-in is on sale for $299 on Amazon too.

The Apple Watch Series 3 42mm GPS model is also on sale for $229, or $80 off its retail price of $309 on Amazon.

While the 42mm model has nearly the same internals and features as its 38mm counterpart, there are some differences that might make you want to opt for the bigger model. Both models have built-in GPS, an optical heart sensor, accelerometer, and gyroscope, and a digital crown. However, the 42mm version has a larger display size and a bigger battery with more than 18 hours of battery life.

This model also runs watchOS 5 and connects to your iPhone via WiFi and Bluetooth. But it really comes down to wrist size. If you have a larger wrist, it’s recommended you go with this model instead of the 38mm version. 

In addition, if you want an Apple Watch with its own cellular system, the Series 3 42mm with mobile data and GPS is on sale for $329 — which is also $80 off its list price. This model doesn’t require an iPhone for data, but you do need to sign up for a separate monthly mobile plan from just about any U.S. carrier, including Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Sprint.

All of these Apple Watch Series 3 models are a great value, so you (and your wallet) won’t be disappointed with any version you pick up.
