Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G will reportedly have beastly specs
Do you hate it when phone manufacturers make compromises in their flagship phones? If you’re paying top money for it, you should get all the bells and whistles.
Well, judging by a report from Max Weinbach (the same man who unearthed the first live image of the Samsung Galaxy S20+ two days ago), Samsung is preparing to launch a phone with specs that will likely crush every other competitor on the market.
The S20 Ultra 5G is going to keep the SD Card slot. Support for up to 1TB.
It will also be available in 128GB/256GB/512GB and have a 12GB and 16GB RAM option.
108MP main, 48MP 10x optical, 12MP ultra wide.
5000 mAh battery with 45W option fast charge. 0 to 100% in 74 min.

Called the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, this smartphone will have a 108-megapixel main rear camera, coupled with a 48-megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor (no word on the potential fourth camera or the selfie camera). It will have 12/16GB of RAM, 128/256/512GB of storage and an SD card slot with support for memory cards with up to 1TB of capacity. Finally, the phone will have a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
Note that Weinbach claims that the Galaxy S20+, which you may consider Samsung’s “standard” flagship, won’t have this camera setup. Instead, it’ll have a 12-megapixel main camera and a 64-megapixel secondary camera (resolutions of the other two cameras on the back are unknown at this point).
There’s no word on the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G’s processor, which will likely be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 or Samsung’s Exynos 990, and we also don’t know the screen size, though with that battery, it’s likely to be quite a big device.
We also don’t know the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G’s price, but you can probably guess that it won’t be cheap.
Samsung will probably launch all the new Galaxy S20 devices at its Unpacked event on February 11.
