Samsung QLED, LG OLED, and more
This TV is another really popular option, but with a slightly more manageable price-tag. Which is great news for anyone looking to keep to a tighter budget.
The LG OLED 55B7V delivers vibrant colours, deep blacks, and excellent sharpness. You also get increased brightness which positively impacts its HDR performance, which is impressive for the price.
The 55B7V also boasts support for HDR10, HLG, Technicolor’s Advanced HDR, and Dolby Vision, which means it is pretty much as future proofed as possible. So hopefully, you shouldn’t need to upgrade any time soon,
If you switch the set to gaming mode you’ll also get a latency of around 21ms for both 4K HDR and 1080P, which is a very solid score for a TV at this price point.
The TV’s smart features come through WebOS, which has proven its worth as a TV operating system. You’ll also get dedicated Netflix and Amazon buttons on the remote, which is a pleasant little bonus feature, even though it’s not an essential.
