Samsung Galaxy S9 is on sale for over $120 off at Amazon
The Galaxy S10 isn’t real until it’s in stores.
Although the Samsung Galaxy S10 comes out in just a few weeks, you can still save on the tech company’s previous generation right now. Amazon has the Samsung Galaxy S9 on sale for $599.50, or $120.49 off its retail price.
The S9 is still one of the best smartphones Samsung has released in the last 10 years with its 5.8-inch edge-to-edge and nearly bezel-free “Infinity Display,” which is built for immersive entertainment experiences. It also features Dolby Atmos support to completely lose yourself in your favorite films and TV shows on-the-go with up to an impressive 10 hours of battery life.
The Samsung device includes a Super Speed Dual Pixel Camera with a 12-megapixel rear shooter and 8-megapixel front-facing “selfie” cam for more vivid and bright photos and HD videos. It’s also IP86 rating water resistant, so you won’t get upset if you drop it in the toilet. However, you might want to thoroughly clean the mobile device (and yourself) after you retrieve it.
Here are more of this smartphone’s highlights:
-
2,960×1,440 resolution display
-
64GB of storage (expandable up to 400GB with a microSD card)
-
4GB of RAM
-
Runs on Android 8.0 Oreo
-
Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip and
-
Still comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack
The Galaxy S9 is unlocked, so you can take it to just about any U.S. cellular carrier for activation, including AT&T and T-Mobile. It also comes in three great colors: Lilac Purple, Coral Blue, and Midnight Black.
Still not convinced? Amazon customer Anthony writes:
“My S5 started freezing up while looking at stored pictures and videos then the battery swelled up. Thus I upgraded to the S9 and everything was better, faster and without problems. All my apps transferred without problem and now they all work without freezing up or buffering. I don’t have to worry about managing & deleting unwanted media because I added a Samsung 256Gig sd card. I’m glad I made the purchase because it makes life a little easier.”
