Prime members can get 4 months of Amazon Music Unlimited for 99 cents
TL;DR: Now through July 16, Prime members who have never subscribed to Amazon Music Unlimited before can pay just 99 cents to try the premium streaming service for four months (normally $7.99/month).
Amazon sure is feeling generous lately: Along with an exclusive deal on Audible subscriptions, the retail giant is now giving Prime members the opportunity to try Amazon Music Unlimited for super cheap in this pre-Prime Day week.
Plans typically cost $7.99 a month, but so long as you’re a new subscriber, anyone with a Prime membership can get four months of the premium music streaming service for just 99 cents.
“But wait,” you might be thinking. “Doesn’t my Prime membership already include music streaming?” Technically, yes — but that’s Prime Music, not Amazon Music Unlimited. They’re similar services in that they both offer ad-free music with unlimited plays, but Amazon Music Unlimited includes access to way more songs: over 50 million compared to Prime Music’s two million.
Another big difference between the two services: Whereas Prime Music’s selection changes constantly (and titles occasionally disappear), Amazon Music Unlimited’s offering is always up to date; you often get access to new songs and albums on the very day they’re released.
If you wind up loving Amazon Music Unlimited, you can continue your subscription for the usual price of $7.99 a month after that trial period. If you wind up hating it, that’s cool too — you’re welcome to cancel your plan at any time.
Head over to Amazon to take advantage of this deal, but hurry — this pre-Prime Day deal only runs for the next week.
