Pre-Black Friday TV deals this week: LG, TLC, and more
PSA, Game of Thrones fans: HBO has given the go-ahead for the Targaryen family’s spinoff, Fire & Blood, House of the Dragon. The 10-episode series will take place 300 years before Game of Thrones. But because George R.R. Martin has vowed to not write any scripts before he finishes Winds of Winter, it might feel like 300 years until we get to see this damn prequel.
While you wait, The King on Netflix (complete with a long-haired Robert Pattinson), See on Apple TV+ (complete with our beloved Khal Drogo, Jason Momoa) and Watchmen on HBO may satisfy your hunger for other worldly, gory battle content.
A 4K TV is the only way to truly watch any of those, and Amazon, Dell, and Walmart are hopping on TV deals way ahead of Black Friday. This 82-inch Samsung 4K TV is *drum roll, please* $500 cheaper than its lowest sale price ever at Amazon. That’s an 82-inch TV for only $1,800 — but there are only seven left in stock, so you had better snag it before the Black Friday piranhas find it.
