PlayStation Classic on sale for just $39.99 at Walmart
Are you a child of the ’90s?
The first PlayStation might give you some early memories of gaming from back in 1995, as Sony’s original console is making a small comeback with the new PlayStation Classic — which is now on sale for $39.99, or a whopping $60 off its retail price.
Usually going for $99.99, the PlayStation Classic is Sony’s answer to the NES Classic Edition and SNES Classic Edition with the tech company’s own crop of retro titles packed inside of a mini version of the first PlayStation.
In fact, the PlayStation Classic is about 45% smaller than the original with a few modern features baked in, including a virtual memory card for saving games and an HDMI port and cable that plugs right into new and modern TVs. The mini console also comes with two classic controllers for head-to-head action, as well as 20 pre-loaded games from the mid-90s.
While time machines have yet to be invented, one of the best ways to go back in time is to play retro video games and the PlayStation Classic can help you relive your youth.

Need a second opinion? Walmart customer masterSyfodius writes:
“It’s great. 20 fun games including legends like final fantasy and metal gear. Has a “anytime” save feature so you can save anytime and then get back to the game and load it. It is in hd so its super clear. Comes with 2 controllers. Still all controls are very responsive for all the games i love it”
