New Amazon Echo Dot in stock at Target and on sale
Happy Black Friday, you frugal, frugal people.
It wasn’t quite a secret that Amazon Echo devices were going to be one of the hottest items this year. If you held off your spending until you could get Alexa in your house for cheap, you’re smart — because the entire lineup is on super sale for Black Friday.
Unfortunately, the sale was so good that the recently-released 2018 Echo Dot has been out of stock since the beginning of Black Friday week, and won’t be back until the end of the month. (That’s what competing with the $24 Google Home Mini sale gets you.) Although you can still order it on Amazon and await the re-stock, if you’re super impatient and just need it now, keep reading.

The tiny smart speaker is still in stock at Target and on sale for the same $24 that it was on Amazon — and also in stock at Best Buy for $24.99. We’re telling you this so that you can hop on it before it sells out there, too.
The 3rd generation Echo Dot sees an adorable new design, better speakers, and is all-around more user friendly than its little brother, so we can see why people wanted it so badly. “Alexa’s gateway drug is more portent than ever,” is how Mashable’s review put it. The newest Echo Dot is the easiest way to bring Alexa and hands-free calls to any room in the house.
Regularly $49.99, you can save 50% and get the 3rd generation Echo Dot for just $24 here. (Tiny and under $25? This definitely counts as a stocking stuffer.)
