The Lux is the most basic of the Instant Pot family, though basic is not how we’d describe this thing. It performs the functions of six appliances: pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, warmer, and sauté. I don’t know about you, but other than baking in an oven or reheating in the microwave, I don’t need many more cooking options than that.
Appearance-wise, the Instant Pot Lux is nothing too special. It has a display that resembles an old alarm clock or sporting score board, giving you a basic timer function. It does have some preset buttons for when you want to make dishes like soup or porridge.
The Instant Pot Lux is available in 3-, 6-, and 8-quart sizes.
Price: $59
The Instant Pot Duo is a step up from the Lux as it has seven functions. In addition to the six that we see in the Lux, the Duo also has a yogurt making feature. It also has the one-touch preset buttons, but unlike the more basic model this one gives you the ability to switch between high and low pressure cooking.
The Duo has that same simple number display seen in the Lux. It comes in 3-, 6-, and 8-quart models as well.

Another slight step up, the Instant Pot Duo Plus cranks it up to 10 functions in one, with the addition of egg cooking, sterilizing, and cake making features. Differing from the Lux and Duo models, the Duo Plus has a blue LCD screen that does more than just display time.
The preset buttons on this model provide you with more cooking options like chili and cake. You can choose to get the Duo Plus in either a 3-, 6-, or 8-quart model. For Prime Day, the Duo Plus is actually cheaper than the less advanced models.

This model boasts a blue LCD screen and ditches buttons for a dial that cycles through cooking selections. Like most Instant Pots, this one is available in 3, 6, and 8 quarts.

Instant Pot just released the Vortex Plus, the brand’s first air fryer, this month, so we’re feeling very blessed to see it on sale already. The Vortex Plus does everything you’d expect from an air fryer, plus it has a rotisserie function. As a rundown of all of its features, this machine can roast, broil, bake, reheat, rotate, and dehydrate — try saying that five times fast.
The Vortex Plus has a touchscreen LED display from which you can select cooking times and temperatures or choose from seven preset programs. The air fryer has a 10-quart capacity.

Instant Pot’s blender, Ace, can handle almost any of your blending needs. It has eight built-in programs that allow you to easily make a smoothie, purée, ice cream, soy, rice, nut, and oat milk, and crush ice. The blender is even equipped to handle hot ingredients, which is not true for a lot of blenders. The blending container holds 60 ounces.
