Get HBO for free when you buy a Fire TV Stick before Prime Day
TL;DR: You’ll get two months of HBO on Prime Video for free (a $29.98 value) if you visit Amazon and order its Fire TV Stick with a built-in Alexa voice remote anytime before Sunday, July 14.
We know, we know — that Game of Thrones-shaped hole in your heart won’t mend itself anytime soon. But between Euphoria, Big Little Lies, the upcoming third seasons of both Barry and Westworld, and its awesome selection of popular films available for your streaming pleasure, you’ve still got plenty of reasons to tune into HBO.
Through Sunday, July 14, all you Amazon Prime members out there can get two months of HBO on Prime Video for the low, low price of free when you order an Alexa-enabled Fire TV Stick. It’s one of many deals Amazon is offering leading up to next week’s huge Prime Day sales event, and it’ll save you nearly $30.

The Fire TV Stick in question will eliminate phrases like “I don’t know what to watch!” and “There’s nothing good on TV!” from your vocabulary: It grants you access to tens of thousands of channels, apps, and Alexa skills, plus millions of websites and more than 500,000 films and TV episodes. And since it features a built-in Alexa Voice Remote, you can control it using a simple voice command.
HBO is one of the dozens of third-party Prime Video Channels you can watch via the Fire TV Stick — no apps or cable required. Such channels typically require a subscription, but as part of this limited-time deal, Amazon will scrap the $14.99 monthly fee and give you two months of HBO at no extra cost.
