Echo Show 5 and Ring Video Doorbell bundle is $50 off at Amazon
TL;DR: The brand-new Echo Show 5 is now for sale and you can bundle it with a Ring Video Doorbell for $288.99, saving you $50. Or buy the Echo Show 5 by itself for just $89.99. Or buy two Echo Show 5s and save $30. (So many choices!)
Amazon launched a smaller and cheaper version of the Echo Show, called the and it is available for purchase starting today.
The Echo Show 5 retails for $89.99, but you can also take advantage of a good deal and bundle the new Echo device with a Ring Video Doorbell and save $50, meaning you pay $288.99 for both.
So, what’s so special about the Echo Show 5 and why should you opt for it over its predecessor? Well, for starters: its price. The original Show will run you $230, while the new model is less than $100. Obviously, with that price cut, you’re going to see different features. For example the Show 5 has a compact 5.5-inch display compared to the larger 10-inch on the original.
You’re still able to use voice commands and see results on the screen and access video streaming; it’ll just be on a smaller scale. New to the Echo Show 5 is an added layer of privacy. You can turn off the microphone with the push of a button and the camera has a built-in shutter so you can cover it when not in use.
You’re totally going to want to put this device on your nightstand. It’s designed to act as an ambient sunrise alarm clock in addition to all of its other functions. Smaller is better in the Echo Show 5’s case.
Check out the new Echo device for yourself and bundle it with a Ring Video Doorbell to save $50.
