Dyson V11 Torque Drive cordless vacuum is $100 off at Walmart
TL;DR: The game-changing Dyson V11 Torque Drive cordless stick vacuum is $599.99 at Walmart, saving you $100.
A Dyson V7 (or similar upright vacuum from Bissell or Hoover) is fine for tackling rooms quickly and grabbing messes on hard floors, but deep cleaning carpets is where a wrench gets thrown into the works.
Changing lives since March 2019, the new V11 supposedly has 20% more suction than the V10 (which was already one of the reliable stick vacuums currently out there). It’s $100 off at Walmart today, which is a huge deal — a device this new and this in-demand doesn’t need to go on sale for customers to flock.
What makes the V11 different than its V10, V8, V7, and V6 counterparts? Oh, just the fact that it’s essentially a computer stuffed into a vacuum. Inside the motor head sits a microprocessor and a dynamic lead sensor (DLS). Apparently, the DLS does rounds approximately 360 times per second to check resistance to the brush head. This info is sent to the motor and microprocessors to calibrate suction and estimate battery life left — like it’s genuinely trying to help instead of just being a vessel of your pushing and pulling.
Battery life, suction mode, and more are displayed on the Torque Drive’s (not the Animal model’s) LCD screen. This is where you can choose your cleaning configuration: Auto mode balances between power and suction for different floor types, Boost mode gives more powerful suction for five minutes, and Eco mode (maximum overdrive, if you will) gives 60 minutes of powerful suction.
Walmart customers seem to be especially enthralled with the different attachments and the way that their home’s plush, high-pile carpets are getting a much-needed deep clean after years of just being skimmed over by other vacuums.
Regularly $699.99, you can save $100 and get the V11 Torque Drive for $599.99 with free two-day delivery. The Dyson Animal is also on sale for $100 off: Normally $599, it’s $499.99 at Walmart.
