Certified refurbished Amazon devices on sale: Echo, Kindle, and more
Throwing away old electronics and can cause toxic chemicals to seep into groundwater or be released into the air. That’s why it’s good to recycle your tech and buy refurbished items when you’re on the hunt for new devices.
Amazon has a handful of certified refurbished products on sale right now — some are even better deals than we’re expecting to see for Black Friday. Though these devices might not be brand new, they have been refurbished, tested, and certified to work like they are.
Echo Plus
The Echo Plus has premium speakers that play 360-degree audio with crisp vocals and dynamic bass. It is equipped with all the Alexa skills, so you can use your voice to play music, answer questions, hear the news, check the weather, control smart home devices, and a bunch more. A brand new Echo Plus costs $149, but a certified refurbished one is on sale for just $99.
Echo Show
The Echo show combines premium speakers with a vibrant 10.1-inch screen for streaming audio and video, displaying recipes, video calling, and more. This device is the perfect kitchen companion (but also complements any other room in your home as well). A new Echo Show is $229.99, but you can snag a refurbished one for $179.99.
Kindle Paperwhite
This Kindle is thin, light, and waterproof and it has a glare-free display, making it a great reading companion wherever you go. It also has Audible built in and pairs with Bluetooth headphones or speakers to listen to your stories. A new Kindle Paperwhite costs $129.99 and is currently out of stock until Nov. 19, but you can get a refurbished version right now for $79.99.
Fire HD 10 tablet
The Fire HD 10 tablet features a brilliant 10.1-inch display, 2GB RAM, and up to 10 hours of battery life. It also has more than 2 million pixels and stereo speakers for an immersive experience on a small screen. A new Fire HD 10 tablet retails for $149.99, but this certified refurbished version is on sale for $99.99. Pro tip, though, if you would prefer to buy new, we suggest waiting until Black Friday when we think Amazon will discount the tablets down to $99.99.
