Apple store is down, new iMac and iPad could be on their way
Apple Store is down, and you know what that (usually) means: New Apple hardware.
And while Apple hasn’t officially announced any new hardware, there are a few hints that point to the company refreshing its iMac and iPad lineup of products.
On March 25, Apple is having an event that’s unlikely to be hardware focused; the company will probably launch new subscription services instead.
But Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman tweeted on Sunday that new iPad and iMac announcements this week would “make a real statement about how much it wants to focus its March 25th event on its news and video services.”
If Apple was to be planning, say, new iPad and iMac announcements for this week, it would make a real statement about how much it wants to focus its March 25th event on its news and video services.

If Apple indeed launches a new iMac today, don’t expect a major redesign — Gurman said it’s not happening, and it’s unlikely Apple would do it without a proper event.
Even if we don’t see major updates, some of the new hardware could be interesting. Apple’s iMac hasn’t been updated in a while. On the iPad front, Apple has been long rumored to be updating its aging iPad mini with a better processor, and a new entry-level, 10-inch iPad could be on its way as well.
Finally, new AirPods and possibly even the belated AirPower wireless charger could be coming, too.
