Apple Magic Keyboard on sale for under $70 on Amazon
TL;DR: The elegant Apple Magic Keyboard is on sale for only $67.31 on Amazon, saving you 32 percent.
Processing capabilities aside, the sleek design of your standard Mac computer is a huge selling point in itself — at least among college students.
In a recent survey of higher education seekers published by the Apple device management company Jamf, 71 percent of respondents said they preferred Macs over PCs. And of those Mac devotees, more than half (60 percent) of them cited the Mac’s “style and design” as the main reason for their preference. Form over function, as it were.
We think it’s fair to assume that if you’re buying a computer because you like the way it looks, you’re going to want equally attractive accessories so as not to detract from the system’s overall ~aesthetic~.
If that sounds like you, you’ll want to pay Amazon a visit ASAP: The ecommerce giant is currently having a sale on the Apple Magic Keyboard, a low-profile wireless keyboard that pairs automatically with your Mac *and* matches its modern design. It retails for $99, but you can snag one today for less than $70.
Available in a silver finish, the Magic Keyboard runs on a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts for about a month or more on a single charge. It supports any Bluetooth-enabled Mac computer with OS X 10.11 or later, as well as iOS devices (i.e., iPads) with iOS 9.1 or later, although you can also hook it up to your device using the included Lightning cable.
Performance-wise, Apple claims the Magic Keyboard types both comfortably and accurately thanks to stable scissor mechanisms that are hidden beneath each key.
Amazon reviewer Em writes:
“After using this keyboard, it’s hard to imagine going back to using a keyboard with a wire. This keyboard is easy to move around with my laptop or a lap desk or elsewhere. I also love how easy this keyboard is to charge and set up with a device. The keyboard is clean looking and a compact size, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space (it doesn’t include the number keypad, but I don’t miss it).”
Get the Apple Magic Keyboard on Amazon for just $67.31 — a savings of 32 percent.
