An Instant Pot and Echo Dot for under $90
TL;DR: This rare Prime Day bundle combines the WiFi-enabled Instant Pot and an Echo Dot, getting you both for $89 — a savings of $110.94.
Instant Pots and Echo devices are two of the hottest items for Prime Day 2019 — we wouldn’t be surprised if a few variations of each make the top 10 list when the final numbers come in.
If you’re into the idea of a connected kitchen, this Prime Day bundle is calling your name: You can get the 6-quart Instant Pot Smart WiFi with a third gen Echo Dot for just $89. Buying them separately at full price would run you $199.94, so getting both for less than $90 is easily one of the best bundles of Prime Day 2019 so far.
Pretty much identical to and with the same functions as the Instant Pot DUO Plus, the Smart WiFi Instant Pot is a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, warmer, sauté pan, and yogurt maker.
The main difference between the Duo and Smart WiFi models is the whole “control it with your phone” thing. Just like the convenience of smart lights or locks, the Instant Pot app lets you to control your Instant Pot’s settings when you’re away — so busybodies who aren’t home to monitor food progress can ensure that they’re not coming home to an overly-browned or cold meal. (This is the improved model of the discontinued Instant Pot Bluetooth. If you see any crappy reviews on Amazon, don’t let it scare you away — they’re mostly about that one.)
The Smart WiFi Instant Pot is also Alexa-enabled, meaning you can start, stop, or change cooking temperatures without getting off the couch. The included Echo Dot lets you do that, but with smart lights, locks, the TV, and so much more.
The app also offers 750 recipes to try, already pre-scripted to cut down your chance of messing up. That’s a new meal every day for nearly two years. (Though we have heard that the Android app is kinda shitty ATM.)
Regularly $149.95 for the smart Instant Pot and $49.95 for an Echo Dot, you can save $110.94 and get both together for just $89.
