Amazon’s hardware has gotten better and better over the past few years, especially as Alexa has gotten smarter and more skilled. Alexa is available in a lot of devices now, including the ultra-affordable Amazon Echo Dot and the higher-end standard Echo smart speaker.

For a limited time, both the Amazon Echo Dot and the standard Echo are 50% off at Best Buy. We typically only see discounts this good on the Echo lineup during Prime Day and Cyber Week, so this is a solid deal.

The Echo Dot is the more affordable of the two, coming in at $24.99 on sale (originally $49.99). It’s a great option for smaller rooms where audio quality may not be as important. The device is pretty well designed with a nice fabric covering and a few buttons on the top for muting the microphone and controlling the volume.

Now that it’s on sale for $49.99 (originally $99.99), the standard Echo is an excellent deal too. This speaker is a great choice for those who want slightly louder and better audio quality. The cylindrical speaker is bigger than the Dot, though it has the same fabric covering and buttons on top.
