8 of the best automatic cat feeders to keep your pet fed and happy
The BPA-free, dishwasher-safe food tray makes for easier cleanup. Keep in mind that while there are five chambers, one will be available to your cat right away. The spinning system is nice, as you can check how much food your kitty has (or hasn’t) eaten at the end of the day. There’s also a two-meal version available if your pet doesn’t require as many meals.
Because of its compact and lightweight design, this feeder is also a great pick for when you have to travel with your cat and want to keep them on their regularly scheduled meals. Even if you aren’t super tech-savvy, this feeder is easy to program, but if you have any troubles at all, their US-based customer support is available six days a week to help troubleshoot any issues.
Amazon user writes:
“Our cat recently went into heart failure and had to start taking pills five times a day. We hide the pills inside soft treats and she inhales them without even noticing, which is great, but stopping what you’re doing every 2 to 4 hours to get the pills, pop them in treats, find her, and hand feed her was kind of insane. With this five compartment automatic feeder, she can self serve her pills after we pre-load the trays each morning. All we have to do now is make sure she’s taking the pills in a reasonable timeframe, and we’re good to go. I will say it took her a while to get used to this feeder because the tray moves automatically under the hood. I think at first she was nervous it would start moving before she could eat out of the tray, but after prolonged use, she seems to have gotten used to it just fine. For us this feeder has been a lifesaver. Very happy we found this product! This was very easy to program, even with our intense pill schedule. Great product.”
