Everything coming to Netflix in October 2020
As the weather cools down, the streaming heats up.
Netflix’s October TV lineup includes new episodes of Unsolved Mysteries and The Haunting of Bly Manor, which is the follow-up Mike Flanagan’s The Haunting of Hill House. Looking for something more lighthearted? Try Emily in Paris — which has a young midwestern woman (Lily Collins) experiencing culture clash in the City of Love — or stream the Emmy-winning Season 6 of Schitt’s Creek.
In terms of films, you can look forward to the British romantic thriller Rebecca or the Adam Sandler-led Hubie Halloween. Or if you’re a mega K-pop fan, check out BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky, which goes behind the girl group’s rapid rise to fame.

Rebecca, a modern adaption of Daphne du Maurier’s gothic novel of the same name, sees a young newlywed woman arriving at the estate of her husband’s family on the breezy English coast. However, the shadow of Maxim’s first wife continues to sweep through the house despite her prior death.
While the cinematic trailer features crisp costumes, glossy visuals, and a blooming romance, it’s underlined with an eerie sense of doom that makes us eager to see what happens next. With Lily James, Armie Hammer, and Kristin Scott Thomas carrying the story, we’re hopeful that the thriller is as deliciously dark as it appears.
How to watch: Rebecca begins streaming Oct. 21 on Netflix.
