Everything coming to Netflix in January 2019
New year, new Netflix!
Whether your New Year’s resolution was to laugh louder, take more adventures, or spend quality time with the family, the new titles coming to Netflix in January 2019 can help you nail your goal. Here’s what’s available.
If you’re in search of comedy, look no further than Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Grace and Frankie. Kimmy will finish out her antics in the final six episodes of her series (1/25) while Grace and Frankie will continue with 13 new chapters to their sidesplitting saga (1/18).
On the action front, DC Comics’ The Dark Knight is streaming alongside the entire Indiana Jones adventure collection beginning New Year’s Day. But hold onto your antennae until the end of the month, when Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp hits the small screen (1/29).
When it comes to family-friendly picks, A Series of Unfortunate Events has got you covered. The Neil Patrick Harris-starring Lemony Snicket story will complete the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans, wrapping up the YA series’ last four books in just seven episodes (1/1).
Check out everything coming to and going from Netflix in January 2019 below.
Top Pick: Grace & Frankie: Season 5
“Have you ever wondered if Ben and Jerry make more than ice cream together?”
What began as a 2015 take on The Odd Couple has evolved into one of the most heartwarming, irreverent, and informed comedies on Netflix. The incomparable talents of Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Sam Waterson, and Martin Sheen champion a story full of love and wisdom, one that (lucky for us) doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon.
The end of Season 4 left Grace and Frankie hanging in the balance. Ready to raise hell in the next chapter, longtime fans are sure to be in for a raucous ride throughout Season 5. If you’re a newcomer to the Grace and Frankie fandom, make sure to catch the first four seasons before diving into the drama in January. You’re gonna want all of that backstory. Trust us.
Grace and Frankie: Season 5 begins streaming on Netflix January 18.
