Let’s welcome Netflix’s The Midnight Gospel to the world of weird, wonderful adult animation.
Created by Adventure Time‘s Pendleton Ward and Duncan Trussell, this trippy cartoon follows spacecaster Clancy — essentially a YouTuber with intergalactic travel abilities — as he adventures across the multiverse to interview creatures of all kinds and “make a bunch of money.” While we can’t vouch for this show yet, the stunning design and punchy dialogue seem especially promising.
How to watch: The Midnight Gospel begins streaming 4/20 on Netflix.
