Where to pre-order the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Series
Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.
TL;DR: As of Aug. 17, you can get a free Samsung Wireless Charger Duo (worth $59.99) when you pre-order the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 or Galaxy Watch 4 Classic from Amazon (starting at $249.99 and $349.99, respectively).
Thinking about snagging one of Samsung’s snazzy new smartwatches? The company is running a deal for proactive shoppers: You’ll get a $50 credit for pre-ordering a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 or Galaxy Watch 4 Classic directly from the Samsung website.
But here’s a hot take: Skip it.
Amazon’s managed to scrounge up an even better preorder offer where you can get a free Samsung Wireless Charger Duo when you reserve a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Series from it instead. (That two-device charging pad is worth $59.99, so you’re basically saving $10 more.)

Revealed at last week’s Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, the Galaxy Watch 4 Series adds new features and new names to the mix. The small and sweatproof Galaxy Watch 4 replaces the made-for-fitness Galaxy Watch Active, while the premium Galaxy Watch 4 Classic (which features stainless steel casing and a rotating bezel) succeeds the standard Galaxy Watch.
Samsung’s original Galaxy Watch Active is on sale for up to $200 less than their new models
Both smartwatches run on One UI Watch — that’s the new interface Samsung built in partnership with Google — and pack a compact new “BioActive” sensor, which can monitor your blood pressure, detect an irregular heartbeat, read your blood oxygen level, and even calculate your body composition. (That sensor is smaller than previous iterations, which allows these watches to be thinner than their predecessors.) Samsung also throws in some sleep- and fitness-tracking tools, including a huge variety of guided workouts, to help you better understand your overall health while forming healthier habits.
As for that aforementioned freebie, the Wireless Charger Duo is capable of charging two devices simultaneously — say, your smartphone and your new Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. (There’s actually a dedicated spot for the latter.) Its support for a wide range of Qi-enabled phones and accessories even extends to iPhones and AirPods, so you don’t necessarily have to be all-in on Team Android to make good use of it.
Get it in black when you pre-order the Galaxy Watch 4 or Galaxy Watch 4 Classic from Amazon (starting at $249.99 and $349.99, respectively) ahead of their Aug. 27 release.
