We’re all carrying around advanced, compact cameras in our pockets all the time. (You know, that little rectangular device you use to doomscroll Twitter.) But truly, nothing beats an actual camera for getting show-stopping photos and videos.
Capture high-quality photos and videos.

Sony mirrorless cameras are top-tier and are great for anyone looking to get into vlogging, photography, or just take really nice vacation photos. As of Oct. 21, a couple Sony Alpha series cameras are on sale for $200 off at Amazon. Snag just the camera base or bundle it with a lens.
I cannot rave enough about this camera. Photos and videos taken with it look cinematic. The a7 III has an ISO range of 50 to 204,800, so it’s amazing in almost any lighting or setting. If you want to take rapid fire shots, the camera captures 10 frames per second, which means you can take up to 177 JPEG, 89 compressed RAW, or 40 uncompressed RAW images. And it has silent mode, so you don’t have to hear the shutter with each shot. The battery lasts about 710 shots or 200 minutes of recording. There’s even Bluetooth connectivity if you want to pair the camera to your phone.
This is the same camera we just talked about, but this version comes with a 28-70mm lens. This lens has a range that’s good for both portraits and landscapes. It’s a super nice starter lens if you’re just getting into photography or videography.
The Sony Alpha a6600 is a small and portable camera, but it’s packed full of power and captures really high-quality images. It has eye autofocus, making it amazing for portraits for both people and animals. The camera also has image stabilization, so you aren’t left with shaky footage or blurry images.
This listing of the Sony Alpha a6600 camera comes with an 18-135mm lens, which can capture subjects up close and far away. The zoom lens has a sharp focus on the main subject, while creating nice bokeh in the background.
