Razer launches gaming finger sleeves and they look absolutely ridiculous
Do your fingers sweat too much while you’re gaming on your smartphone?
Razer, the high-end gaming device company, has the solution for you: the Razer Gaming Finger Sleeve.
According to Razer, slide your fingers into these non-slip pieces of fabric and your sweaty fingers will no longer be a hindrance while you’re wasting noobs in Fortnite or PUBG on your mobile device.
Look at that grip.

It’s clear that video games are serious business.
Video game streamers are making millions on platforms like Twitch. Competitive gaming in the form of esports has blown up in recent years so much that it’s being covered by the same press that covers “traditional” sports such as basketball or football.
Pro gamers and those aspiring to be pro gamers need pro gear just as much as other professionals do. I get it.
And Razer is a trusted brand, high-quality in this industry. Mashable has previously tested the company’s devices, with great reviews. I’ve personally played around with an iteration of their gaming smartphone, Razer Phone, and was very impressed to say the least.
Still, these finger sleeves are one of the funniest products I’ve ever seen.
They look like little socks for your thumbs. Add little finger sneakers and a Tech Deck to your phalanges’ ensemble and your digits can easily cosplay as a mini Tony Hawk.
But, listen, I get it. Sweat would clearly interrupt your gaming experience on a touch screen device. Your smartphone would not be as responsive, your thumbs will probably slide all over the place.
For casual gamers, I’d probably recommend taking a break if your fingers are getting so sweaty that you’re having trouble gaming on your iPhone or Android device. But, you probably can’t just call a timeout in the middle of sniping your opponent in a competitive gaming matchup.
Heh.

So, that’s where Razer’s finger sleeves come in. And at a measly $10 for two, they’re likely money well-spent if they help you out in that regard.
But that doesn’t mean they don’t look like someone knit tiny condoms for your fingers.
