Pete Davidson opted out of joining Miley Cyrus onstage for a cover of Dolly Parton’s 1973 “Jolene.” Devastating.
Noah Cyrus did grab a mic to duet with her big sister on the classic country tune during Miley’s New Year’s Eve bash that aired on NBC. This isn’t the first time Miley has covered “Jolene.” As part of her Backyard Sessions YouTube series, Miley released a stirring version of the song in 2012, which currently has more than 330 million views. Parton has also joined her goddaughter Miley to sing the tune.
Good luck not humming “Jolene” to yourself the rest of 2022.
