Everything announced at Samsung Unpacked 2021: Foldable edition
If you’re looking for the ability to dramatically snap your phone closed after a call, look no further than the foldable phones unveiled at Samsung Unpacked 2021.
In addition to its latest folding Android phones, the company also revealed its newest wireless earbuds and smartwatches. And we’ve got the breakdown on what each new product brings to the table.

The more compact of Samsung’s two new folding phones, the Z Flip 3 is the slightly cheaper option. It packs in a few notable upgrades from its predecessor, including a larger cover display, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a brand new camera feature that lets you shoot video straight from the cover display. Plus, it comes in some pretty cute colors: cream, green, lavender, and phantom black.
It’ll be available for pre-order Aug. 11 and fully available Aug. 27.

This phone is the Z Flip 3’s big, bad, older brother. While it’s more expensive than its younger sibling, the Z Fold 3 is actually $200 cheaper than its predecessor, the Z Fold 2. The new upgrade focuses on durability, which Samsung ensures with its new Armor Aluminum material on the outside of the phone. It also features a 120Hz refresh rate on both screens, a redesigned camera module, and S-Pen compatibility.
It’ll be available for pre-order Aug. 11 and fully available Aug. 27.

Samsung’s cheapest earbuds yet debuted with a brand new, egg-like design. The Galaxy Buds 2 come in four colors — graphite, olive, white, and lavender — and feature active noise cancelation plus three on-board microphones to assist in voice calls.
The buds will be available for pre-order Aug. 11 and fully available Aug. 27.
New name, new watch.

Samsung has renamed its entire smartwatch line. What was previously called the Galaxy Watch is now the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, while the fitness-focused Galaxy Watch Active is simply the Galaxy Watch 4.
Beyond the new names, the Galaxy Watch 4 is smaller, sweat-proof, and has a more seamless UI integration with One UI Watch, a partnership with Google. The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will also have a stainless steel casing and a rotating bezel.
Both watches will be available for purchase Aug. 27.
