BTS and Coldplay fight anti-music robot planet in 'My Universe' video
When two of the biggest groups in the world team up for a duet, there’s going to be an equally ambitious video to go with it.
BTS and Coldplay have released their first single together, “My Universe,” with a spacey video showing the groups performing within some kind of futuristic radio station as “holobands.” Wherever they are in space, they seem to be battling some form of huge anti-music robot planet known as a “silencer,” which is trying to shut down their hologram dancing and singing.
It all seems like an extension of Coldplay’s “Higher Power” video, which saw the group exploring a high-tech trash planet named Kaotica.
There’s a mini documentary on YouTube if you want to see how the two groups recorded the song.
