As plastic pollution continues to increase, microplastics are found in the smallest of marine organisms. At this rate, according to estimates, there will be more garbage than fish in the sea by 2050.
The Ocean Cleanup is on a cleanup mission, starting with the Great Pacific Garbage Patch – an area accumulating enough trash to cover Texas twice over.
