Upgrade for free Galaxy Buds and YouTube Premium
Can you believe the Samsung Galaxy brand turns 10 later this month? Ugh, they grow up so fast.
To celebrate a decade of making its signature Android smartphone and tablets — the first of which launched on June 29, 2009 — the South Korean tech company is throwing an ongoing “Galaxy Day” party all month long.
But these birthday festivities come with a twist, because *you’re* the one getting the presents.
For starters, Samsung will give you a free pair of its new wireless Galaxy Buds — a $129.99 value — if you visit its website and upgrade to any Galaxy S10 or Galaxy Note9 premium smartphone in June. You’ve got a bunch of feature-packed models to choose from, all of which debuted within the past 10 months or sooner. (Check out Mashable’s reviews of the devices here and here, respectively.)
The fun doesn’t stop there, though: Once you’ve got your new Galaxy smartphone, you can register it on the Shop Samsung app to receive a code for a free one-year trial of YouTube Premium. (That’s the platform’s ad-free streaming subscription service, which costs an estimated $144 annually.) How’s that for a win-win?
Select Samsung retailers are offering their own deals on Galaxy devices throughout June; for example, Best Buy is shaving $300 off the price of the Galaxy S10 and S10+ now through June 13, and will throw in a free YouTube Premium trial on top of that discount. But FYI, Samsung.com is the only place where you can get both the free Galaxy Buds and the free YouTube Premium trial with the purchase of any Galaxy S10 or the Galaxy Note9.
Head over there now to get the Galaxy Day party started and grab an S10 or Note9 starting at $749.99 and $999.99, respectively.
