If you’re not familiar, Record Store Day is an annual celebration of the culture surrounding independently run record stores across the globe. Music lovers come together to participate in festivities and to snag special-release vinyl and CDs. It’s held on a Saturday in April and this year it falls on April 13.

Record Store Day celebrations include performances, cook-outs, body painting, artist meet and greets, parades, and — our favorite — deals. 

To get the most out of record store day, you’re going to want a record player. We’ve rounded up some killer deals on turntables for Record Store Day this year. Check ’em out below:

The briefcase-styled Crosley Cruiser gives you the gift of mobility. Just close the case to transport it wherever you want to enjoy some vinyl tunes. It’s constructed of wood and bound in a leatherette material, giving it a cool, classic look that complements virtually any room.

As for functionality, this turntable features built-in speakers, so no need to connect to an external system. It’s also Bluetooth compatible and includes an audio jack output, meaning your listening experience isn’t just limited to what you have on vinyl. This belt-drive turntable has a real authentic feel to it — it has a manual arm lifter for analog playback. Though it is analog, there’s also the option to convert to digital with a USB output. The TN-300SE is versatile and sounds great.

The record player comes in either a walnut or black matte finish and includes a shell to cover the mechanism and prevent dust collection. The Teac TN-300SE is listed at $449.99, but you can grab it for just $159.99 in the PCMag Shop — that’s $40 less than at Amazon.

The LP-R55oUSB is a holy grail of audio players, featuring a turntable, CD recorder, cassette player, and AM/FM tuner. This machine is great if you have a collection of old records and cassette tapes. You can even create a digital collection of the music by converting the tracks onto blank CDs using the CD recorder feature.

In addition to the built-in music functions, this turntable has a USB port, audio input and output, and headphone output. The system comes with a remote, so you can easily switch between listening modes. Typically the LP-R550USB retails for $399.99, but for Record Store Day it’s on sale for $269.99.

Teac’s TN-100 is a no-nonsense turntable. It operates with a belt-drive motor to produce a cleaner sound that direct-drive players. While it does include RCA and USB ports, there are no fancy bells and whistles on this record player. It has a sleek, minimalist look.

The discreet turntable makes a good addition to any room and the removable outer shell ensures the mechanism and record are safe from dust and scratches. On a normal day the TN-100 costs $179.99, but on Record Store Day it’s just $79.99. 

This Audio-Technica turntable embodies modern technology as it provides fully automatic functions — use buttons to start and stop playing a record. This turntable is available with or without Bluetooth functionality and includes cables to connect to your stereo or speakers if you want an added boost to your audio.

The AT-LP60 is available in navy and orange — the model without Bluetooth is on sale for $89.99 and the Bluetooth model’s price has been reduced to $139.99.

This turntable from Denon gives you the power to save your favorite vinyl records onto a USB drive as MP3 or WAV files so you can enjoy them digitally. The DP-450USB has a sleek design and includes a removable dust cover.

Play on its own or connect to your speaker system to enjoy audio from your vinyl collection. The Denon DP-450USB is listed at $599, but get it for $549 at Amazon for Record Store Day. 

Similar to the Denon DP-450USB, this model helps you rediscover your passion for vinyl (or it might be sparking a new passion in you). The DP-400 features a belt-driven platter and one-touch button controls, creating that semi-automatic experience.

This Denon turntable also comes with a removable dust cover. Normally the DP-400 costs $499, but it’s on sale for $449 at Amazon.

This older model has similar functionalities to the Denon DP-450USB in that you are able to convert records into digital tracks directly from the turntable to a USB drive. The DP-200USB has a similar sleek, minimal design as those in the 400 series, but with a larger, clear dust cover.

Normally retailing at $249, the DP-200 is on sale for $199 at Amazon.

Place this unique device on top of any record to instantly listen to the tracks. The small block creates solid sound through its own speakers or connects to external outputs via Bluetooth. Some turntables are portable, but you still have to haul a large machine. RokBlok is truly portable as it’s two inches tall and four inches long.
