Purchasing a new TV is always going to be investment. You throw bundles of cash at one hoping that it lasts you years until you have to re-up that investment. The problem: There are way too many options. You have to factor in size, whether you want an LED or OLED screen, if 4K resolution is something you need, and more. It can be a stressful process, especially if you don’t know the first thing about what to look for in a TV.
We have a solution to help you narrow your search, though. These high-end TVs from LG offer incredible displays and smart capabilities — and they are on an unbelievable sale right now in the PCMag Shop when you use the code PCMAG15. Seriously, these are some of the best prices we’ve seen on these TVs and you *really* don’t want to miss out. Check it out below.
This LG OLED TV is a real head-turner. Its sleek, thin design has the ability to complement any living room aesthetic and looks great either propped up on an entertainment center or mounted on your wall. The 3840 x 2160 4K Ultra HD Display is an absolute marvel to witness. It changes the way you view film or play video games for good — once you go 4K, you can never go back. The TV’s smart features also give this unit more value, ranging across Alexa and Google Home compatibility, Google Assistant, built-in WiFi, and a full web browser (just to name a few.) The 2.2 channel Dolby Atmos Speaker System raises the ante when it comes to immersion, and all of these features are constantly at your fingertips with the Magic Remote Control.
Pick up an LG OLED B8 in either a for $1,096 (original price $1,699) or a for $1,699 (original price $2,299) when you use the code PCMAG15.
Although the C8 and B8 models are pretty close in comparison, the C8 comes out on top. The C8 has all of the aforementioned features that the B8 does, but has a few subtle improvements that are worth it if you have a few extra bucks burning a hole in your pocket. Included in those improvements are better picture detail, clarity, contrast, and color.
If the little things are important to you and you want to edge out the lower budget models by a small margin, pick up a (original price $2,749) with the code PCMAG15.
The differences between the LG OLED E8 and C8 really come down to their design, so choosing one will just be up to your personal preference. A collaboration with BoConcept, the E8 model features a picture-on-glass design in which the TV’s OLED panel is set on a piece of glass and thus giving it the illusion of a seemingly floating image. The E8 is a bit thicker than the C8, and also has less of a clearance at the bottom. Another difference is that the E8 has a more advanced speaker system, with a 4.2 channel speaker system that delivers 60 watts of output power versus the C8’s 2.2 channel speaker system that delivers 40 watts of output power. Whichever one you pick, the LG OLED series is going to give you impressive results across the board.
You can get a (original price $2,299) in the PCMag Shop with the code PCMAG15.
