Save up to $165 on select Garmin GPS smartwatches on Amazon
If you’re serious about losing weight for your New Year’s resolution in 2019, then you’ll need a serious GPS smartwatch to help you set and reach your goals.
Save up to $165 on the Garmin Fenix 5X Plus and Garmin Fenix 5X Sapphire on Amazon right now and get the motivation that you need.
Normally priced at $849.99, the rugged Garmin Fenix 5X Plus is now on sale for $684.99, a $165 savings. This is one powerful GPS smartwatch that can keep track of your blood oxygen saturation levels during your workouts. The smartwatch also includes the features you’d come to expect from Garmin, such as built-in road maps, heart rate monitoring, tracking for calories and steps, sleep monitoring, and more.
The Garmin Fenix 5X Plus can also connect to Android and iOS smartphones via Bluetooth for making and taking phone calls, as well as receiving emails and text messages. It can also store and play up to 500 songs without a smartphone, so if you have a pair of Bluetooth headphones, you don’t need to carry around a clunky mobile device while working out or running.
The scratch-resistant Garmin has a 13-hour battery life in GPS mode and a whopping 20-day battery if you just use it as a smartwatch.
But don’t just take our word for it. Amazon customer J. Angeles writes:
“Great watch for everyday use! Battery life has been 6 days plus with 24 hour use. Despite size of 5X Plus, watch is very comfortable to wear (Using with Garmin silicon band.) This is my first smartwatch that wears comfortably enough to sleep while wearing. Data seems accurate and is plentiful. It took awhile to get used to the buttons interface because I was used to swiping the screen. It also takes some getting used to a relatively dim screen but that’s the price for 24/7 use with great battery life. Very happy with the watch.”
The Garmin Fenix 5X Sapphire is also on sale for $519 on Amazon, which is $130.99 off its $649.99 retail price. The Fenix Sapphire has the same features as the Fenix 5X Plus, but without the ability to monitor blood oxygen saturation levels or the stored music options.
Instead it features a three-axis compass, gyroscope, and barometric altimeter for running. If you’re an avid or aspiring runner, you can save a few dollars and invest in the Garmin Fenix 5X Sapphire, which may be a better fit for you.
